A Stage of Flowing Melodies and Shared Emotion
'The Next Banger' is a show celebrating the authenticity of creating and sharing music. My core design concept was to create an immersive 'musical community' experience, bridging the gap between creators, listeners, and witnesses. Through a circular and semi-open stage layout, we physically eliminated the separation between the performers, mentors, and the audience. Visually, the entire stage was conceived as a vast, flowing vessel for melody. We utilized programmable LED strips that ran throughout the space and circular screens, allowing the lighting to breathe and pulse in sync with the music's rhythm, chords, and emotion, transforming abstract notes into a visible flow of energy. This not only amplified the music's emotional impact but also fostered a shared space where everyone felt present, turning each performance into a sincere dialogue rather than a one-way show.
